Philly Oatmeal with Honey

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 3 ½ cups of water and ¼ teaspoon salt to boil.
  2. Stir in 2 cups of quick-cooking oats. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool lightly.
  3. In a small sauté pan on medium heat, toast the nuts until tightly browned and the aroma of the nuts fills the air. Take of the heat and set aside.
  4. Mix the cream cheese and milk into the cooked oats and swirl gently with spoon.
  5. Drizzle honey for taste
  6. Top with berries or any fruit you fancy and toasted nuts of your choice.
