Philadelphia Waffle with Figs and Honey

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre-heat waffle iron on a side. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk milk and eggs; pour over flour mixture and whisk gently to combine. Gently whisk in butter.
  3. Following manufacturer’s instructions of the waffle iron, cook waffles until deep brown and crisp.
  4. Take the cooked waffle and let it cool down.
  5. Spread a layer of Philadelphia cream cheese and place fresh figs.
  6. Drizzle the waffle with honey and top with toasted almonds
  7. Serve
